A company that needs staff at an event writes a request, receives a quote and, once it is accepted, the available profiles, and chooses who will work on the day. That is the ToGet4U® method, in which a dedicated Event Manager follows the job from the first line of the brief to the post-event stage. You choose the staff, and we take care of your event.
From your request to your choice of staff
- Send your request. You list the figures you need, the city, the dates and the times, with no registration and no account to open.
- Receive the proposal. We send you a quote, free and with no obligation. Once you accept it, you also receive the profiles available for the event.
- Compare and choose. You look through the preselected profiles and decide who you want at your event.
The operational flow, step by step up to the payment of the staff, is described under how it works for companies. What you receive depends a great deal on how the first line of the request is written, since figures, city and dates are the minimum to get the work moving, while times, duties and required languages narrow the selection from the very first round.
The staff roles a proposal can include
The same process covers hostesses and stewards for welcome, accreditation and assistance in the hall, promoters for in-store activations and field marketing campaigns, and models for fashion shows, shoots and product presentations. Alongside these figures a proposal can bring in interpreters, medical hostesses for congresses in the healthcare sector, entertainers and animators, bartenders, waiters, chefs, film extras, DJs and promotional models.
The format of the event weighs less than it might seem. A three-day trade fair, a medical congress, a corporate family day, a store opening and a gala dinner all go through the same process, and from one to the next only the make-up of the team changes. An event that looks like none of these goes into the request in your own words, with its type, the dates, the venue and the figures you picture on the floor.
One Event Manager from request to post-event
Every business client has a dedicated Event Manager. This person reads the brief, works out what that setting really calls for and preselects the profiles. They also keep in touch with the staff you have chosen and remain your point of reference afterwards, when there is paperwork to close or the next date to plan. Here the method parts ways with a job-listing portal: technology cuts the time spent on scouting and contracts, while operational responsibility stays with someone who has a name and answers when you call.
On the day of the event, what the Event Manager does depends on the kind of assignment. When we organise the whole event, they are on site, and the work includes a site inspection of the venue, coordination of suppliers, supervision of the spaces and management of entrances and exits. With the supply of staff only, they follow the event remotely, and whether a site visit takes place depends on the case. A briefing for the staff is part of both, covering dress code, times, positions and on-site contacts.
You choose the staff for your event
We do the preselection, and the decision stays with you. The profiles you receive show services and experience, and you put the team together the way you want it, from people whose profiles you have actually read. Particular requirements go into the request: a foreign language, the size for the brand’s uniform, experience of working on a stand. They are requirements you set for that event, and the preselection follows them.
Time counts as well: 90% of selections are closed within 48 hours in peak weeks, because the professionals are already on the platform with an up-to-date profile. When you are organising a trade fair or a congress, knowing three weeks ahead who will be on the stand is worth as much as the price.
What the quote includes
The quote covers everything, with insurance for the staff and the administrative burden borne by the platform. Agency fees, the Event Manager’s work, the staff’s travel costs and every other charge are all included.
Figures, hours, city and duration change the total every time, which is why each price is worked out on the request it answers. To receive one you only need the figures, the city and the dates, entered in the quote request form. How long the proposal takes depends on which figures are involved, on the dates and on how many people are needed, since one hostess for a morning and twenty stewards over three days take different amounts of preparation.
The scale behind the method
A method like this only works with a network behind it large enough to handle requests outside the main cities, and the dates when everyone is looking for staff on the same weekend. Today over 50,000 professionals are registered on the platform, which has handled over 6,000 events since launch, including more than 1,800 events in 2025, for more than 1,300 clients and partners. We operate in Italy, Germany and Spain, with our registered office in Turin. ToGet4U is the platform of ASDM S.r.l., a member of Federcongressi & Eventi. The company’s history and the people who lead it are on our about us page.
It was on a business trip, at a trade fair in Germany, that the idea took shape, while comparing agencies’ quotes for a single hostess. The portal has been online since January 2021, and Germany is now the platform’s first market outside Italy.
How ToGet4U works for people looking for event work
The method has a second side, which concerns the people who work at events. For hostesses, stewards, promoters, models, interpreters and the other figures in the catalogue, the process starts with free sign-up, since the service costs professionals nothing. After signing up, each professional builds a profile with the services offered, experience and cities.
Job offers can be browsed from the account area and from the app, available for iOS and Android. Applications are sent independently by the professionals themselves, with no agency deciding on their behalf. Each offer states the fee, so it is known before accepting, and the contract is signed digitally inside the platform. The last step of the method depends on how each professional works: with a VAT number, payment arrives on terms agreed case by case; without one, occasional work is paid on scheduled dates and an employment contract on the same case-by-case terms.
