I have collaborated with this agency on several occasions and I have always had a very good time. The portal is very clear and intuitive. To mention efficient communication, punctuality and precision both with regard to the organization of events and their development, and with regard to subsequent payments. Super reliable, I will be more than happy to work together with ToGet4U again!

Personally, I had to deal with Francesca. What can I say, a precise, punctual and attentive professional to the customer’s needs. He helped me by advising me and finding promoters who turned out to be perfect for my needs. It is definitely a great business partner to work with.

I had the opportunity to collaborate with ToGet4U for the inauguration of our new General Contractor office and I had a very good time. The interface with Mauro was very fluid and professional and we were shown the right profile (Ilaria) for our type of event, which was, thanks also to their support, perfectly successful. Recommended!

On ToGet4U®, hostesses, stewards, promoters and the rest of the event staff choose for themselves which jobs to go for: you sign up, build your profile and apply to the events that interest you. Over 50,000 professionals are already registered, and the platform handled more than 1,800 events in 2025. The steps from sign-up to payment are the same for every role in the catalogue, and the jobs are at events: trade fairs, congresses, corporate events and in-store promotions.

How do I sign up?

Sign-up happens online and is free, and all you need is your personal details and a valid contact. From that moment you have your own account area, where you manage your profile, applications and documents, with no selection process to go through before you get in. Sign up for free and move straight on to your profile, since what it contains is what brings offers your way.

What goes into a staff profile?

Your profile lists the services you can offer (event hostess, steward, promoter, bartender, waiter, interpreter and the other roles in the catalogue), the jobs you have already done, short ones included, the languages you speak, the cities you can work in and whether you can travel. Add at least three professional photos too, as they are what a company sees before anything else when it compares profiles. A precise, up-to-date profile gets more applications accepted than one left half-finished, and it is the part of the process that depends entirely on you. To see how it is filled in field by field, follow the guide to create your profile.

How do I apply for event jobs?

You apply on your own from your account area: go to the offers to find event jobs by city, date and role and read each proposal with its fee and conditions. Which offers you go for is entirely your call, since nobody applies on your behalf and nobody can make you accept. Apply now to the offers open in your city, then keep an eye on your notifications.

What kind of events do the offers cover?

Alongside trade fairs, congresses, in-store promotions and corporate events, the offers cover specific formats: medical congresses, field marketing, family days, team building and event catering. Every listing shows the role required, the city and the date, so you know in advance where you are going and for how long. Offers follow the events, and ToGet4U operates in Italy, Germany and Spain: if you are happy to travel beyond your home area, say so in your profile, because that is what shows where you can work.

Who chooses me, and on what basis?

The platform and the Event Manager preselect the profiles that match the request, then the client company looks through them and chooses who it wants at its event. With 90% of selections closed within 48 hours in peak weeks, an application sent promptly stands a better chance than one sent at the last minute. Between candidates with similar experience, the people chosen more often are those who present themselves clearly, keep their profile up to date and describe their experience clearly.

Do I need experience to be chosen?

You can start without a long CV, because short jobs count in your profile too, as long as you describe them precisely and link them to the right role. Francesca Rubiola, CEO of ToGet4U, has made the point that even occasional work takes more than availability, and that preparation, precision and the ability to read and understand offers properly all count. The events you have worked at stay in the history of your account, and that record is material you can bring into your profile as it grows.

What does each role involve during an event?

It depends on the role you apply for. Hostesses and stewards handle welcome, accreditation, reception, stand guidance and assistance to attendees at trade fairs and congresses, while medical hostesses work on accreditation, attendance tracking and in-room assistance at medical congresses. Promoters take care of sampling, handing out material and presenting products, in store or within a field marketing campaign. Models, both women and men, are booked for fashion shows, shoots and product presentations. In every case the task is the one written in the offer and repeated in the contract you sign.

What do I get before I arrive at the event?

You get a briefing covering dress code, times, your position and the people to refer to at the venue, so you arrive already knowing where to stand and who to turn to, without having to ask on the day. If the company has set a particular requirement, such as a language or availability over several days, you find it written in the offer before you apply. The digital contract with the date, venue, task and fee stays in your account area, and you can reread it whenever you like.

How much am I paid, and when do I know?

The fee is written in the offer, so you know it before you accept and well ahead of the event. There are no surprises on the amount agreed with you, and the platform takes no commission on your fee. Fees vary with the role, the length and the type of event, which is why the number that counts is always the one on the individual offer.

Which working arrangement applies to me?

You can work with a VAT number or without one (as an occasional worker or on an employment contract), and the payment timing differs accordingly. In every case the relationship is governed by a digital contract, which you receive and sign in your account area after selection, with the fee, date, venue and task written into it. Nothing is signed on paper and you never have to chase anyone for a copy, because the contract stays in your account.

Is there an allowance for periods without events?

There is none, since no ongoing relationship exists to be covered. With ToGet4U, each event is a job in its own right: you apply only when an offer convinces you. In the periods you do not work nothing accrues, but you are not bound to stay available either. If you keep your profile up to date you stay among the profiles put forward to companies.

How and when do I get paid?

Payment depends on how you work: with a VAT number, you are paid on terms agreed case by case; without one, as an occasional worker you are paid on scheduled dates, or on an employment contract on timing agreed case by case. No single calendar applies to everyone, since the deadline depends only on which of these cases is yours. What you receive is the fee set out in the contract you signed, unless you ask for early payment.

Can I be paid earlier?

Yes, if you work as an occasional worker. If you need the money sooner, you can request early payment from the Payments section of your profile in the app, as soon as the payment for the job is confirmed. We pay you within 3 working days of your signing the receipt. The cost is 4% of the job amount (fee, extras and expense refunds), with a minimum of €15: it is how much less you receive, net, and you see it before you confirm. If you ask for several jobs together, the minimum applies only once. Once sent, the request cannot be cancelled.

How much does ToGet4U cost me?

It costs you nothing. Sign-up is free and the service for professionals is free as well, so you pay nothing to apply, nothing to be selected and no percentage of what you earn. The only possible cost is for early payment, and only if you choose to ask for it.

Insurance and paperwork: who takes care of them?

The platform takes care of both: RCT/RCO insurance for the staff and the administrative paperwork are covered by ToGet4U, not by you and not by the client company. Your part is the work at the event, while the contract and your documents are handled digitally in your account area.

Can I manage everything from my phone?

Yes: with the ToGet4U app, available for iOS and Android, you update your profile, apply for offers, sign digital contracts and check the dashboard with the history of the events you have worked at. The app does everything you would do on a computer, and new offers reach you as notifications on your phone.

Open your free account, keep your profile current and apply to the offers that suit you, with the fee and conditions of each one in front of you before you say yes.
